In a powerful statement recognising International Women’s Day, Prevail Groups of Companies Chief Executive Officer Ms Tendai Sithole has called on women to embody resilience in shaping Zimbabwe’s future.
Celebrated annually on March 8, International Women’s Day honours the achievements of women while advocating for gender equality.
This year’s theme, “For All Women and Girls: Equality. Empowerment,” signifies importance of inclusivity and empowerment for all females.
She said challenges faced by women today require a collective effort to foster resilience and drive progress in various sectors.
Ms Sithole said it is high time women break the limits that has been set by the society.
“As women, we have the power to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and forge a more inclusive and equitable future.
“Under my leadership, Prevail Group has expanded its portfolio to include large-scale projects such as the nationwide installation of boreholes and drip irrigation, real estate development, logistics, hardware, hospitality, and finance.
She emphasised the importance of futuristic planning and being responsive to change in the corporate world.
“As a leader, it is crucial to stay agile, adapt quickly, and make informed decisions that drive growth and sustainability.
“We must celebrate our successes, learn from our setbacks, and empower each other to reach new heights,” she said.
