Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Focus on Adaptability and Resilience

HARARE, Zimbabwe – April 20, 2024 – Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe (PLZ) celebrated its 2nd anniversary with a grand event highlighting the theme of “Adapting and Thriving: Celebrating 2 Years of Growth and Resilience in the Lithium Industry”.

The event featured inspiring speeches, a delicious cake-cutting ceremony, live music, and a company video showcasing PLZ’s journey over the past two years.

Thirty employees were recognised for their achievements and presented with certificates and gifts by General Manager Mr Henry Zhu and Deputy General Manager Mr Wang Yuchun.

In his remarks, Mr Zhu emphasised the importance of adaptability and resilience in the ever-evolving lithium industry.

“Over the past two years, we have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, but through sheer determination and hard work, we have not only weathered the storm but emerged stronger than ever,” he said.

Mr Zhu announced plans for a state-of-the-art lithium sulphate plant, demonstrating PLZ’s commitment to sustainable growth and value addition in the industry.

“By investing in this plant, we are demonstrating our commitment to sustainable growth and development,” he stated.

The representative of the PLZ Workers Committee, Mr Kuzivakwashe Kwenda, commended the employees for their dedication, innovation, and commitment to the company’s success.

“Your hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit have been instrumental in driving our growth and propelling us to new heights,” he said.

The event celebrated PLZ’s achievements, and recognition of outstanding employees, and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to excellence and growth in the lithium industry.
