HIGHLANDERS goalie and 2023 premier league Goalkeeper of the Year Ariel Sibanda (35) is reportedly battling to save his career following an unexplained swelling of his legs, online publication bhorafrika.com has reported.
Sibanda had a stellar performance for the Bulawayo side last term, clinching the best goalkeeper’s gong after recording 19 clean-sheets in a season Bosso just fell short of winning the title on the eleventh hour.
Ariel Sibanda is the club captain and longest serving member in the current squad with 12 years experience of loyal service to the club. Having been goalkeeper of the year three times, Ariel is truly an inspiration to us all. @HighlanderBosso pic.twitter.com/6n6h6C0dnE

Reports received by bhorafrika.com indicate the Bosso number one is struggling to deal with the unexplained ‘injury’ which might rule him out of the 2024 season which kicks off next month.
“One of Ariel’s feet started swelling in the off season and has gotten worse now,” said a source close to the four time Best XI finalist.
