Pizza Inn, a leading fast-food chain, celebrated its 30th anniversary by donating a borehole worth $4,500 to the Mount Hebron community in Nyamade Village.

The handover ceremony was graced by Chief Mashonganyika.

The borehole aims to provide clean water for the community, enabling them to grow produce for sale at the nearby Showgrounds market. This initiative supports vulnerable members, including widows and orphans, to become self-sufficient.

“Pizza Inn is committed to giving back to the community that has supported us for three decades,” said a company spokesperson. “This borehole will improve lives and promote sustainability,” they said in a statement.

The donation underscores Pizza Inn’s corporate social responsibility efforts, focusing on empowering marginalised communities.

The donation will benefit more than 500 community members.
